Ashbrook Acres
Welcome to our Historic Old Century Farm House.
Our home sits in a quiet area in the rural Tweed countryside and is a prefect retreat in the country. We watch the day go by on our large porch, or we sit and enjoy the sun on the open and breezy back lawn, watching our goats and sheep graze.
We have recently sold all our beloved Kiko and Boer goats, and our flock of katahdin and Dorper /Katahdin
We are located 45km North of Belleville, Ontario.
We had been raising Sheep for the past 3 years.
Here at Ashbrook Acres we concentrated on providing our customers with high quality livestock.
Our main objective was to raise maintenance free, parasites resistance lambs/kids for market and have some good genetics for sale at a reasonable price to improve or increase your herd.
All our livestock (Sheep, Goats Llama and Pigs) Have been sold we only have the 3 horses.

In Memory of 'Megs' 2nd November 2002 to 16th July 2015 After traveling 4,600 kms from Ontario to British Columbia, with broken heart, we lost our faithful Megs. She had been sick for over 2 1/2 years - back and hip problem, sadly due to the pain killer that the were prescribed to her by our vet Clare Craig, Stirling Veterinary Service Stirling Ont. she delveloped kidney problems which was a side affect, this in turn lead to Kidney failure. Our BC Vet Ken Marquisten - What Com Veterinary, Abbotsford BC was without a doubt the best, he handled both Megan and us with kid gloves. It broke our hearts to lose her but her quality of life had been lost....When Megs tail no longer wagged ......she no longer wanted to eat treats....She could no longer walk with out help, and finding her many times laying in her own pee we felt it was time to let her go.... :-( Diagnosis - Kidney Failure |
In Memory of 'Amy Baby' 3rd January 2003 to 10th June 2013
Sadly Amy became sick on the 8th June 2013 - We had to let her go on the 10th as she was in so much pain and discomfort, the vet Clare Craig, Stirling Veterinary Service was unable to save her but did all he could.
Thank you Clare and staff for your help and support in this very sad time.......
